In case you missed our first monthly update, we’re going to be posting a round-up blog each month to share an overview of what we’ve achieved and experienced over the past 31 days.
It’s now been almost two months since the launch of our website and operations are in full swing! When they’re not picking and packing orders, the dedicated Heartisan Fine Foods team are scouring the UK on the lookout for new and exciting artisan products to add to our ever-growing repertoire.
This month, Northamptonshire-based Friar’s Farm joined our dedicated list of suppliers, offering a range of unique products such as Cranberry Salsa and Northampton Pickle. With a fantastic reputation both within the local community and further afield, we are proud to offer a selection of award-winning products from this highly sought-after brand.
While we are continuously looking to expand our product offering by venturing into new markets and stocking artisan products of different kinds, research into Christmas hampers is also underway as we hope to offer Heartisan hampers in time for the 2018 holiday season.
Since our last update, new business developer Max took a trip to the Game Fair at Ragley Hall alongside the Tredders team (Tredders is a country clothing and footwear retailer that also sits under the Cadman Capital Group umbrella) to get a taste for face-to-face retail. As a new business ourselves, it’s important that we work closely with our sister companies to learn all we can about the world of retail and how to operate efficiently.
As we continue to grow, new opportunities within the business will arise and we are currently recruiting for an exciting new part-time role as a stock assistant. We hope this is the first of many new job opportunities that will be created over the years to come!
