Lovingly prepared in small batches, Clare’s Preserves was founded in 2014 when its creator, Clare Gault, graduated from Ashburton Chefs Academy with a professional culinary diploma.
Turing passion into business, Clare’s Preserves has won countless awards for its exceptional range of marmalades, chutneys, jellies, jams and relishes. A strong advocate for traditional artisan production, Clare’s Preserves uses open pot methods to create its culinary delights, all of which are homemade from a family kitchen, overlooking the natural surroundings of picturesque Dartmoor.
Clare’s Preserves is proud to use British produce wherever possible for its creations, working to obtain many of its ingredients from Devon and the neighbouring areas. From the rhubarbs used to infuse its jams and the cider vinegar squeezed from local ancient apple trees, to the British glass used for its jars, almost everything that goes into Clare’s Preserves is proud to be British, and of the highest quality.
